VR Solutions is owned and run by Aaron VanRiper, serving the Vallecito and Bayfield area of Southwest Colorado. Aaron is hands-on in a way that is genuinely uncommon in this trade. He will frame a deck, weld the steel, run the excavator, and tile the shower himself.

Why that matters more than it sounds like it does

Most projects around here do not stall because someone lacks skill. They stall because four different trades have to line up, each one is waiting on the last, and nobody actually owns the schedule. You call the general contractor, he calls the sub, the sub does not call back, and three weeks disappear.

When the same person does the dirt work, the structure, and the finish, most of those handoffs simply do not exist. One crew carries the project start to finish. There is one number to call, and the person who answers it is the person holding the tools.

The range, specifically

Excavation and site work. Structural steel and on-site welding. Steel buildings, shops, and solar structures. Framing, remodels, and additions. Bathrooms and custom tile. Decks and covered porches. Pro-Panel metal roofing and fencing. Flood and storm recovery, taken back to studs and put back dry. And the exterior staining that keeps a log home from going grey and checked at 7,500 feet.

That is not a list of things we will find someone to do. It is a list of things Aaron does.

How we price and communicate

Estimates are free and in writing, itemized so you can see what is in them. If we open a wall and find something nobody could have known about, you get a written change order with a number before we go further, never a surprise at the bottom of the final invoice.

As one client put it: he "communicates clearly throughout the process, and always stays within budget." That is the whole standard.

Vallecito and Bayfield are home base. We work throughout La Plata County: Vallecito, Bayfield, Durango, Gem Village, Forest Lakes & Ignacio and the surrounding communities. If you are a little outside that, ask anyway.
