Finished work

Steel goes up faster than stick framing, spans further without interior posts, and does not care about the snow that flattens an undersized wood shed. For a shop, a barn, or equipment cover, it is usually the right answer here.

Aaron welds the structure himself, which means the dirt work, the footings, the steel, and the skin are all the same crew. That matters most on the parts nobody photographs: the anchor bolts, the base plates, the connection details.

FAQ

Steel Buildings & New Construction: common questions

Not seeing yours? Ask us directly. We answer.

Do you handle the engineering and permits?

Yes. Steel buildings need stamped drawings for permit here, and snow load in this county is not something to eyeball. We coordinate the engineering and take the permit through the county.

Can you do the dirt work too?

That is the point of calling us instead of three companies. Clearing, grading, the pad, the footings, and the steel are all the same crew and the same schedule.

Who actually shows up to do the work?

Aaron, and his crew. He is not a salesman who hands your project to whoever is available. He frames, welds, runs the excavator, and sets tile himself. That is the whole reason one crew can carry a project start to finish.

How do estimates work?

Free, and in writing. Smaller jobs we can often price from photos and a phone call. Anything larger gets an on-site look. You can pick the time yourself on the calendar on this site.

What areas do you cover?

Vallecito and Bayfield are home base, and we work throughout La Plata County including Durango, Ignacio, Gem Village, and Forest Lakes. If you are a little outside that, ask anyway.
